Peace Be Still

     I was going over my Bible class a few weeks ago, and it was the story of when Jesus calmed the sea just by saying, "Peace! Be still." One of the things you'll notice all throughout the New Testament, is that when Jesus is near, everyone is safe. Just like when Peter was walking on water, all he had to do was trust that Jesus wouldn't let him drown, he wouldn't. We need to remember that Jesus will always be there to take care of us, even if we don't realize it. All we have to do is focus on Jesus and He will take care of us. We don't always see it at the time, but we can trust that no matter how long it takes, Jesus will always take care of us. All throughout the Bible we see instances where Jesus took care of the people who followed Him. So next time you feel a bit down in the dumps, remember that even though it may not seem like it, but things will always turn out well for us in the end.
